4 Month Checkup

We had Cheyanne's 4 month check-up on March 24th, 2010. She now weighs a whopping 16.5 lbs and is 26in long.n Her doctor also said we could finally start her on cereal twice a day everyday. I started her weeks ago before her doctor's appointment so it didn't matter to me if she told me I could or I couldn't. As a Mom you just got to trust your instincts on when to start certain things. She also got her 4 month shots as well and my oh my do I hate those shots. She took the first one fine but then she realized she was getting poked a second time and that's when the tears came rolling down her face and she turned red in the face. I hate seeing my child cry and be in a cranky mood. But we all have to deal with it.  My oh my where has this time gone by. Seems like she is growing up way to fast for my liking.  But its always a joy to see the new things she learns everyday. She is really starting to talk alot more. And if you aren't paying attention to her then she will scream at the top of her lungs just to get your attention.

Her sleeping patterns lately have been way out of wack. Before she used to go to bed at 9:30 now its like 11 or 12 and she is still up at 6 or 7am. I dont like this new schedule that she is on. But I guess whatever makes her happy. I need to learn how to go to sleep when she does, but its always nice when she goes to bed so I can have some me time and get things done around the house that I couldn't do during the day because she just wants Mommy all the time. But I don't mind it one bit! I love it when she wants Mommy more than Daddy! :) It's the best feeling in the world.

Nothing much really goin on with her. She is just becoming a better child everyday and learns new things everyday.

TEETHING!!

This is so not fun! My daughter is finally starting to teeth and its HELL! I mean ya I hear stories of people saying oh its not that bad when they teeth. Ya freakin right it sucks. And theirs really nothing I can do for her. So it makes me sad when she just cries and cries and wont stop. Today she is running a low grade fever, drooling like no other, and has a runny nose. I gave her some Infant Tylenol and now she is in lala land. Hopefully she wakes up in a better mood!

She has her 4 month dr. appt here soon and that means more shots. That also means Im going to have me a really cranky baby again. I hate when its time for those shots. They are no fun for me or her for that matter. But on the other hand she gets to get her beauty sleep and that means more time for momma to herself. Ya right when she's asleep I get so bored and have nothing else to do. I just want to wake her up and play with her but Im not about to ruin her schedule that we have had her on since she was about 2 months old.

I have learned a new trick to get her asleep now! :) All I do is sit in our rocking chair put her boppy underneath her and sing to her. Before she hated Mommy singing to her but now its soothes her to sleep. And I found the most perfect song for her! Wish I would have found it earlier. But here it is:

Just another day

Today was just another amazing day with my daughter at home. I finally got in contact with Kaplan College about starting my career as a Nurse and working my way up to become a Pediatric Nurse. Let me tell ya I got my work cut out for me! LOL But it will all be worth it in the end because I'm not only doing this for myself but for my family. I cant just be a stay at home mommy forever because then I think I would go crazy!! I want to be able to hear my daughter one day say, "My mommy did this for our family and to make a better life for me!" That would just melt my heart if she said that. I would do anything for my daughter and she may not know it now because she is 4 months old but she will. 

But I can't believe it..my daughter is already 4 months old. Time sure does fly by. She is learning so many new things. Its unbelievable!! :) I couldn't ask for a better daughter. She means the world to me! She has been sleeping through the night since she was 2 months old and I couldn't be happier. I think its getting late and I can't think straight to write anymore. But here is a new picture of my sweet princess!

First Blog (Randomness)

This will be my first blog of the day! This week has been the best week by far. My fiance has been home for the last couple of days and that means spending time together and spending time with our daughter. Im just all bummed that he has to go back to work tomorrow. : ( Oh well someone's gotta bring in the money. I love staying at home with daughter and couldn't ask for a better life. Things have been going great. My daughter is now starting on her solid foods and absolutely loves peaches so far! Just like her Momma. She is starting to talk more and more everyday and learn new things.


I know its short for my first blog but dont have really much to write about! Will post tomorrow when I get the chance.
